Priority Mechanical was the prime mechanical contractor working with Ledcor Design-Build Inc. and Dialog on the design-assist construction of the new Royal Alberta Museum in downtown Edmonton. The project involved several years of design development and was completed and turned over to Alberta Infrastructure in the fall of 2016. The project involved installation of extremely complex HVAC systems and BMS controls systems as required to provide the necessary building environments for the museum. The mechanical systems included a high efficient boiler plant, centrifugal chillers, modular chillers, cooling towers, steam humidification systems, lab ventilation and controls, and several other specialized mechanical systems.
